DESCRIPTION:  \nWe invite you to attend our next chapter event\, which will be a discussion between Andrew Seidel\, \nFreedom From Religion Foundation Director of Strategic Response\, and Jerry Coyne\, University of Chicago Professor of Evolutionary Biology.  This will be a one-on-one interview with Andrew about his new book\, “The Founding Myth: Why Christian Nationalism is Un-American.” \nThe focus will be on such topics as: \n\n“Does a national motto ‘In God We Trust\,’ the Declaration of Independence\, and other historical ‘evidence’ prove that America was founded on Judeo-Christian principles?”\n“Are the Ten Commandments the basis for American law?”\n“Are science and religion compatible?”\n\nCopies of “The Founding Myth: Why Christian Nationalism is Un-American” will be available for purchase\, and Mr. Seidel will conduct a book signing following the discussion. \nDate:  Tuesday\, June 11\, 2019\nTime:  7:30 PM\nPlace:  University of Illinois at Chicago\, Student Center East Building\, Fort Dearborn Room B\, 750 S.
