Call for Volunteers for the National Kidney Foundation of Illinois

The FFRFMCC would like to pass on a community service volunteer project to those who are interested. The service will be a free kidney disease and diabetes screening for individuals in need through the National Kidney Foundation of Illinois.  This will run in conjunction with a food pantry that operates at the same location, and will offer free medical tests and consultations with a doctor or nurse for those who utilize the pantry. In October, 2017, the FFRFMCC hosted a two-week lecture series by Mr. John Camardella, a Chicago-area high school teacher who teaches classes on the various religions of the world to Senior-level students as part of a public high school curriculum.
