2015 Secular Holiday Displays Counter Intrusive Religious Images at Daley Center Plaza in Chicago and North School Park in Arlington Heights

The FFRF Dawkins Scarlet “A” sign is festively glowing in both Daley Center Plaza in Chicago and North School Park in Arlington Heights again this year to offer representation for the rapidly growing non-religious community during this holiday season.

Also in Daley Plaza, the FFRF Metropolitan Chicago Chapter has erected its “Founding Fathers Nativity” banner in honor of the birth of our Bill of Rights, and also to celebrate the Winter Solstice – the TRUE and original reason for the season!

The Arlington Heights display for the second year in a row also includes a banner from the Chicago Coalition of Reason asking, “Are You Good Without God?” And answering, “Million Are.”

For the past two years, the secular displays in Arlington Heights have been vandalized, indicating that a desire to share a public forum in a lawful expression of free speech is still not something everyone is willing to concede.

The Daley Center display will be up for viewing until December 27th, and the North School Park display until January 2nd.
