“Christian Nationalism and the Supreme Court”

A Presentation by FFRF Co-President Annie Laurie Gaylor

The Metropolitan Chicago Chapter of the Freedom From Religion Foundation is extremely pleased to announce it will be hosting a speaking engagement by FFRF Co-President, Annie Laurie Gaylor.

As co-founder of the Freedom From Religion Foundation, Annie Laurie Gaylor helped launch the organization with her mother, Anne Nicol Gaylor, recognizing the biggest obstacle to abortion rights, as well as the root cause of women’s oppression in the world, was religion.  Now, with her husband and Co-President, Dan Barker, she has seen FFRF grow into the largest organization of atheists, agnostics and freethinkers in the United States. The Freedom From Religion Foundation now serves as a model of how litigation, education and advocacy can be used to defend and protect the constitutional principle of separation of church and state, as well as how to educate the public on matters relating to non-theism.

Ms. Gaylor’s presentation will focus on the rise of Christian nationalism in the U.S. and its impact on the Supreme Court; including the court’s recent decision to overturn Roe V. Wade. She will also offer tips on how to get involved in the battle against encroaching patriarchal and totalitarian theocracy.

The FFRFMCC hopes you will join us in welcoming Ms. Annie Laurie Gaylor as our guest speaker during one of the most tumultuous periods in the history of our secular government.
