FFRFMCC Fall 2017 Discussion Workshop – “Challenging Religious Beliefs”
We are pleased to announce our next in a series of discussion workshops on "Challenging Religious Beliefs." During these discussions, a moderator will pose two separate topics/questions related to common religious talking points. Participants are encouraged to offer their viewpoints regarding how non-theists should best counter unsubstantiated ideological beliefs when presented to them by those of religious faith, in order to assist non-believers with sharpening their critical thinking skills. In October, 2017, the FFRFMCC hosted a two-week lecture series by Mr. John Camardella, a Chicago-area high school teacher who teaches classes on the various religions of the world to Senior-level students as part of a public high school curriculum.
